Appearance: Very similar to other species in the genus Ogyris.
Wingspan: 4.5 cm
Season: 1 generation in spring; 2 generations in late spring and early autumn on the Swan costal plain.
Range: Very rare, local and restricted to south-western WA.
Habitat: Wide variety of habitats, including Eucalypt woodland, Banksia woodland, mallee shrubland and mallee heath.

Notes

Widespread but very local across south-western WA from Murchison in the north to Cape Arid in the south-east. Host ant: Camponotus terebrans (Lowne 1865).
